Oh, wow!!! We have driven by Goebel's for years and never stopped until today. I am SO GLAD we did! The food was just wonderful, the staff was sweet as could be and the atmosphere was delightful. The sliced brisket was fall apart tender and the BBQ sauce was amazing. Very well done, Goebel's!!
TO DIE FOR!!! True, authentic Texas BBQ cooked to perfection. And they offer a Frito Pie? Who could possibly ask for more??? The Goebel Beans were absolutely DELICIOUS and the Jalapeno Bombers were the PERFECT appetizer. You get a good amount of food here for the money and the service is great. Cute store with all sorts of kitschy stuff. Some sort of Strawberry/Peach cobbler that was DELECTABLE! Everything about this place is awesome. If I lived here, I'd be visiting them at least weekly!
This is my kind of place! All outdoor seating next to an adorable store and the food, the yummy bbq gets prepared outdoors on the grills and you order at the little shack. First time we were having dinner later so we split the brisket sandwich and a banana pudding. When I asked about the pepper bombs she kindly threw a couple on our tray. Everything was lip smacking good! Next day we stopped again for another banana pudding and an order of pepper bombs. Addicting stuff!
Saw the yelp reviews and had to try this place. Stopped by while driving through town. Four of us and a child shared the family #2. So many good things! The brisket had a perfect smoke ring and felt apart. The chicken was very tender and the pulled pork was to die for. PLUS! They had pork belly burnt ends. 100% recommend this place. The lady at the register was very helpful and explained everything. We had so many questions and she politely answered them all. Definitely coming back here again!
